From Eyesight To Insight; this is an interesting little book (75 pages), written by Bruce and Barbara Thompson. In 2003 when this was written he was the Dean Emeritus of the College of Counselling and Health Care at YWAM’s University of the Nations in Hawaii.
As the title suggests it is about Christian learning and presents a quick overview of YWAM’s philosophy of always allowing space, and indeed placing a priority on, supernatural revelation at the university level. Specifically, that while human knowledge has its place, to be adequately equipped one needs not only “eyesight” and our own rational thinking, but the wisdom that comes through divine revelation or “insight”.
This book may not appeal to everyone, but contains some interesting points.
