Noho Marae Accommodation Options
Ohope Marae -Fully Booked
Please note that accomodation on the Marae is now full however there is still accomodation at the adjacent Ohope Christian Camp. The accomodation blocks at Ohope Christian Camp are less than two minutes walk from the Marae.
Ohope Marae offers Marae style accommodation in the Wharenui. The sleeping arrangement is co-ed with males and females sleeping on opposite sides of the Wharenui. Mattresses, pillows. a pillow case and bottom sheet are provided. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag and towels. Ear plugs are also not a bad idea! The marae has a good ablution block with plenty of showers.
There is no additional cost to sleep on the marae. Beds in the Wharenui are limited to 30, please register ASAP to secure a bed.
We will require some adults to sleep in the Marae, please discuss if you (as an adult leader) were planning on sleeping separately to your students.
Ohope Christian Camp
Situated , immediately in front of Ohope Marae, Ohope Christian Camp is an a great location for our event. The camp offers bunk room accommodation with some smaller rooms suitable for accompanying adults that you will most likely need to share with one or two others.
Guests will need to bring their own bedding and towels.
There is an additional cost of $20 per person per night ($40) to use this accommodation. We will book this accommodation for you. You can select this option when you register.

Staying offsite
There are plenty of Air BnB’s available along Ohope Beach for you to book on your own. We do however encourage you to consider sleeping on the Marae or at the camp so that you can make the most of the community that will form over our time together. Adult leaders need to discuss with us if they are hoping to sleep offsite as we do require some adults to be onsite for adult supervision of the students.
