Saddle Hill Foundation Trust which operates out of East Taieri Presbyterian Church each year runs a “Ground Zero” club which they developed themselves.
Ground Zero is an 8-week course that includes a weekend camp. Ground Zero has an awesome reputation locally with it being fully subscribed year after year. Even their local school recommends students who they think will benefit from it.
The aim of this programme is to provide a club for young people who are at the “pre-intervention” stage. The programme would expect to develop leadership and responsibility in the young people who attend. Building self-esteem and respect in young people would be an expected outcome.
Saddle Hill Foundation Trust has been kind and is allowing PYM to put their curriculum on the website, so other churches can use their resource.
