Awhitu Presbyterian Camp
Want to get away from it all, but still be within 1.5 hours of Auckland?
The Awhitu Presbyterian Camp is a rustic camp situated in the rolling hills on the edge of the Manukau Harbour. Enjoy walks to the beach, and Awhitu Regional Park (where there is a safe golden sand beach, Brook Homestead and bush reserves). Golf course, boat launching ramp and good fishing is available nearby, and a local shop and service station at Matakawau. Hamilton’s Gap on the West Coast is a 10-minute drive away.
The camp is ideal for family groups, youth groups and small church groups.
The campsite is owned by the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand under the umbrella of the Northern Presbytery,

The Facilities
In addition to the main camp we have Awhitu Lodge and Bedroom 6
.Accommodation: 47 beds in ten separate sleeping areas with a mixture of bunks and single beds.
Kitchens—2: comprising of 3 x stoves, 2 x microwaves, 3 x refrigerators, freezer, storage space, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, and BBQ.

$30 per adult per night
$20 per child per night (aged 3 to School Year 13)
